after a long time observing the team, i've decided to change training day.
it will be every monday, court work, kallang or CCAB, 7-9pm.
physical training will take place every alternate fridays, 7-9pm as well.

GOOD JOB GUYS!!!!!! so proud of all of u!

did 3.6km run today in 2 halves.
1st half clocking in at abt 12mins.
2nd half clocking in at 11 mins 30.
(all timings are based on the last person who reached the finished point)

this is simply brilliant. the team's stamina is going only up up up! =D thats great! well.. NO TRAINING NEXT WEEK!!! *hurrah!* its CNY.. so dun eat too much.. if not all the effort put into training will be wasted!

Hey team!!!
Good job! U guys did very well on the last training. Ran 4.4km from GWC to Dempsey was indeed a challenge! But u guys pulled through, clocking in at 28.30mins. It was interesting!!! Remember the cars and the big huge house at Ridley’s park? Yupp.. yanling.. stop drooling.. haha! N relax! Cuz one day, we will buy that kind of house and yl.. u can have a car with 4 pipes! =)

anywayz.. here is what we will be doing next week.. The place n all remains unchanged! We will be running to Dempsey again. Which means, its 4.4km again. But this time round, we will try to improve on our timing. Try to hit 23mins okay? haha.

so happy for those who made it down for training on the 18th jan'08. its brilliant! thank you for coming for the FIRST training. for those of u team mates who did not come, its alright. we'll see u soon. n i do hope its SOON! =)

okay.. now u see me..! HA! well so much happened with our team.. pulling out from theresian netball alumni was the highligh and the highest amount of stress for the team. thank god, we stick together to become difRays. much thanks to MARIA for wanting fridays that we came up with difRays. and hannah's wonderful explanation of difRays.

well.. 2007 went by for this team in a flash! i remember the last xmas party we had was at hannah's with fondue and lots to eat till we are SO bloated! HA! this time round, its at lavinia's n it was simply brilliant! with all the good nice cooked food! yum.. =) i love gatherings by the way! =D psst... PR, DO SOMETHING! ha!

so for this year, new year, new plans, new goals, new aims.

Hey everyone! The proposal for the carnival has actually been considered and i'd say that's a big accomplishment for the team now all we have to do is pray that k**g approves it and we'll be able to play netball 'legally' on an actual NETBALL court! The carnival is supposed to be on the 25th of November, a Saturday, if i'm not wrong so do keep it free but boo hoo - i won't be here.

Anyway, another reminder is that our dear captain's bday is coming up this Wednesday so do not forget to send birthday wishes to Chermaine who turns 18 on the 18th haha (good one Hannah!)

This man was asked to work OT for his job. So he'd end work around 11pm everyday. Then there is nobody waiting at the bustop for the bus except this old lady. She boards the same bus as him and everytime it is a double deckered bus. So whenever the guy want to go upstairs to sit, the old lady would say " Boy, dont go up there. Its very unsafe" and shakes her head. The man was scared so he sat next to the old lady. The second day was the same as the first. He tried to go upstairs and the old lady said the same thing too. It was until the third day when the man felt that nothing was wrong with the bus and decided to sit upstairs despite the old womans advice. After the ride he came down the bus in one piece and completely safe. He asked the old lady why she said that it wasnt safe and she said....(guess what would she say through comments!!!) heheh :P:P:P

heyy ppl. this may seem really stupid. but yupp. i m still doing it.

the game on the 29th july 2006 at CCAB with CJC.
i realise that...
- passes was really weak
- long passes was either too strong or too weak.
- not clearing into space.
- defence was not tight.
- shooting was horrible. HAHA! sorry.
- NOT ENUF COMMUNICATION!!! grr.

if u have anything to add.. let me know. we will work on it. this is from my perspective.!! =)

ps. anissa is leaving the team till she is ready to join in again. she said she have no passion for the game n she dun wanna be a burden to us. good luck anissa.

wow. what a wonderful weekend i had. finally got to see XXX. so where did you go after that? how come he's brother came? like so extra.. haha. and i thought he was the one you like. haha. Yeah training was fun man!!!! basketball rocks! Musical was fun but i didn't get to meet up with many teachers and reached home so late - my mother was mad at me and then had to wake up for 8.15 mass haha

But overall, the scolding and the lethargy was worth it! haha...you want to play half-court netball this Saturday? then book at Kallang?? let me know because we have to book on Wednesday - no choice. so stupid!

hmmm. today's trg was very fun! finally something that it related to balls that are ard the netball size. haha. i wonder what we're doing next trg? macs with yanling and violet and cat today. very funny. yanling said i wont get married. bet'cha that violet is jealous. haha. anws. you you want your fortune to be told, you can go to yanling (but i cant promise that it'll be true though). haha. she's abit wacky sometimes. okok. gotta go do econs. i word of advice, for future ref, to the 3 youngest team memebers, if you're gng to jc, pls try not to choose econs in your subject combi if you dont like human geog or even memorising facts and examples for that matter. it's really tiring(but you pple may be different so dont rely totally on what i say). haha. k then. ciao pple! i cant wait for the musical tonight!

Anyway, Chermaine - have you confirmed the venue and timing of our badminton 'trg' this Saturday? We need to let the team know as soon as possible because most of our members have short term memory especially the other exco and her darlings! (haha...jk..jk..Ouch! Alicia going to hit me tmr!).

Today was so lame! Alicia and I told Serene that we were going to play badminton instead of have training this Saturday and Serene's eyes lit up like a little girl's and she was like "Yay! I'll come!!!". haha...so lame!

dear netballers,

tho 7 people came for training today, i m still not happy. its not the people. its the level of committement, the level of WANT.

i realise after talking to alicia, yan ling and catherine that our team's biggest problem is that we dun have the people who want. certain people only does things for the sake n the reward of the end result. but seriously.. i want it. i want to bring this team far.

the problem with people who dun turn up for trainings, i really can't do anything about it. it totally lies with them. how do u think the theresian hockey team can survive for so so so long? take away the fact that they have their own coach, they have matches to look forward too n they actually have the funds to play of a pitch. the bottom line of everything here is that these hockey players LOVE to play hockey. they have the PASSION for hockey.

dun look at the status of members in our team. talk to everyone. be open. we need to know whats going on with ur life. (off course u can reserve the personal stuff) if ur so so so not happy with something, TALK it out! to anyone that ur comfortable with. mayb alicia, hannah, cat, chermaine, dawn, mak, etc. who so ever. its a TEAM.

before we actually carry on with training this coming saturday, we will have another training. a more fun day n i do hope its gonna bring in more people.

Hello! Hello!

I just came home from training so i'm definitely going to be the first to blog today because everyone went for lunch and i decided to be anti haha

Ok you guys! We must be proud of our accomplishments today! We had seven people down for training! Truly a day to remember. I hope our future trainings will be equivalent or even better! Woo Hoo! But today eventhough we had the 'manpower' we trained for less than two hours which is a bit cuckoo because usually we train longer with fewer people!

Oh and today Dawn finally got to meet the rest of the team and she fits in perfectly! Yay! Now we need to recruit more people so that our team will consist of more than seven eventhough seven is already a great accomplishment! Can't stop saying 'accomplishment' because i'm so happy!

The next step is training on a netball court! But we need funds! Oh and Chermaine we should definitely go sell some stuff at the netball carnival thing on the 19th and 20th August because it'll really boost our fund! But what to sell?

Hmmm and now for everyone's favourite part! The two netball jokes that will change your life!

1. Why do netballers make such good trekkers?

Ans: Because they know their 'poles' well.

2. Why did this random fisherman decide to join our alumni team?

Ans: Because he caught zig-zag fishes.

Haiz...the jokes are getting worse! Need inspiration! haha but then again, it's supposed to be lame. Congrats hannah!

Greetings everybody.

Guess what? I'm in school again haha - got a two hour break now. so sian.

Anyway Chermaine, i'd love to write a letter to the alumni - does that mean i have to address the letter to *ahem* - so fun!!!!

Haha...i'm crazy...how much is it to enter Pesta Sukan and what booth thing are we going to sell our items? When is it? organized by whom? what are we gonna sell? Haha...i'm a curious girl. And by the way, no one else but us can blog because they all don't have blog accounts lor!

Hmmm...i see why training is so late but i bet people will still be late. Btw, how many people are coming down for trg this Sat? We just say got CIP hours involved and it'll be the first time 8 members of the team actually come down for a training =)

yupp.. we're not taking part in this years Pesta sukan. WE R BROKE!! right alicia?!?! its so expensive to take part! never knew. but i got a better offer. we will take part in the fair. we sell our own items.. hmmm.. then 100% of the profit we make will go back to US! that mean our team will have MONEY!! n that means we can use it for courts!! n the most impt thing 1st will be to pay me $480!! Ah Chermaine...you finally created the blog =)

Anyway, why has training been pushed back so late from 10 to 12? It's supposed to be either 9 - 11 or better still from 7 to 9 =)

Oh ya and i thought you told me that we'll not be participating in this year's Pesta Sukan due to financial constraints? Haha...anyway, if only four people are turning up for training this week then i'm not coming which means only 3 people hahaha...ok i'm nuts.

I'm just trying to kill time in school because i have my orals in like an hour and a half and the rest of the JC1s have gone for a field trip. So sian. I have to wait 3 hours for a 15 min exam.

Oh ok i'm off track! I'm supposed to talk about netball!!!
